LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The National Weather Service confirmed a total of four tornadoes touched down in southern Indiana when severe storms rolled through the area Friday night into Saturday morning.
Sunday, the NWS confirmed an EF1 tornado touchdown in northern Orange County, Indiana, from West Baden to Orleans. As of Monday evening, that tornado had an estimated 110 MPH winds.
Monday, the NWS confirmed a second EF1 tornado with an estimated 105 MPH winds touched down south of Brownstown, Indiana, in Jackson County.
The NWS said two EF0 tornadoes, one at an estimated 75 MPH and one at an estimated 85 MPH, touched down in Lawrence County, northwest of Bedford, Indiana.
The NWS is continuing the survey.
The NWS has now confirmed 4 tornadoes touched down in our area on Friday night into Saturday morning.
