LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The troubled roadside attraction Funtown Mountain was shut down Tuesday, according to a Cave City code enforcement officer.

He describes the park as total chaos and destruction and an embarrassment to the city.

Police got a lot of calls over the weekend. Officials say the roadside attraction was a public safety hazard with broken windows, doors, and no electricity running due to failure to pay the bills.

The owner, Will Russell, was recently charged with DUI and drug charges.

Officials couldn't find him today, but say the electricity will remain off until all code violations are fixed.
