LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- Officials have released the name of a woman who died after being hit by an SUV on Dixie Highway in Shively.
The victim was 55-year-old Carolyn Warner, according to Deputy Coroner Scott Russ. The cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.
Police responded to the scene on Sunday night around 10:30 on Dixie Highway at Farnsley Road.
Investigators would not say if Warner was walking in a cross walk when she was hit.
The driver of the SUV is cooperating with the investigation, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
