Ben & Jerry's co-founder campaigns for Bernie Sanders in Louisville
Jerry Greenfield handed out ice cream and discussed Sanders' vision for America Wednesday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, campaigned for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in Louisville on Wednesday.
Greenfield handed out ice cream and discussed Sanders' vision for America that includes combating income equality, college affordability, and fixing the campaign finance system.
The public was invited to attend the event at 4th and Muhammad Ali Blvd. on Wednesday afternoon.
Following the event, Greenfield met with campaign volunteers at Sanders' 2016 Louisville Headquarters on Frankfort Avenue.
Ben and Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen has already showed support for Sanders by creating a new flavor celebrating his White House run.
