Tests show Prince died of opioid overdose, according to law enforcement

CHICAGO (AP) -- A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that tests show Prince died of an opioid overdose.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents are investigating the musician's death.

Opioid pills are commonly used to treat pain.

The 57-year-old music icon died in April at his home in a Minneapolis suburb.
