POLICE: Man pulled gun, zip-tied Louisville child and raped her

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is behind bars at Louisville Metro Corrections after police say he pulled a gun on a child, zip-tied her hands and raped her.

It happened in April, at a home in Jefferson County, according to an arrest warrant.

Police were sent to Norton Children's Hospital on April 9 to talk to a child who said she had been raped by 41-year-old Rodolfo Buchillon, her mother's ex-boyfriend. The girl said Buchillon pulled a gun, zip-tied her hands and wrapped tape around her head before pushing her to a bed and raping her. She said he also forced her to perform sex acts with him.

According to the warrant, officers searched the child's home and found zip ties and "other items consistent" with her account. Police say the child also had injuries that reflected her story.

A warrant was issued for Buchillon's arrest on April 10. Police say he was transferred to Louisville Metro Corrections from Dade County, Florida, on Tuesday.

He's charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
