LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville native Gerron Hurt is America's new MasterChef.
Hurt is a Fern Creek High School and Western Kentucky University graduate.
In the season finale Wednesday night on WDRB, Hurt cooked up a three-course meal, including Nashville Hot Quail with a Fingerling Potato Salad.
The show congratulated Hurt on Twitter Thursday morning.Â

He won $250,000.
Hurt is a high school English teacher in Nashville, Tennessee.
