LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A Shepherdsville woman is accused of leaving two young children in a car with loaded guns while she worked on her tan.
Police got a call Tuesday night that a woman had left kids in a car when she went to Sun Tan City. Officers say they found 25-year-old Monica Gentry inside the business and that she had been tanning for about half an hour.
They also say they found a 5-year-old and 5-month-old inside the car as well as two loaded handguns. They say one gun was within each reach of the older child.
Gentry is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
