LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.

Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20, 2025.


NuLu Summer Fest

East Market Street will turn up the heat this weekend for NuLu Summer Fest. It's behind held this Saturday, July 19, from noon to 7 p.m.

NuLu's annual summer celebration returns to the 700 & 800 blocks of East Market Street with surf-inspired tunes, a watermelon eating contest, tie-dye station, limbo contest, putt-putt, pickleball, summer yard games, local food trucks, 80+ vendors, and a tiki bar from Crowler Catering.

Admission is free, and organizers ask to please leave your pets at home.

TBT: Louisville Basketball Tournament

The annual TBT basketball tournament opens this weekend.

Freedom Hall on Phillips Lane in Louisville will host The Ville's regional once again from July 19-23 — and for the first time, regional hosts have the opportunity to keep home-court advantage all the way through the championship.

TBT is a winner-take-all, $1 million tournament. Most of the teams are formed by alumni of prominent programs across the nation.

TBT games feature the unique "Elam Ending," where a target score is set late in the fourth quarter, eliminating the need for intentional fouls and ensuring every game ends on a made basket.

TBT is a 64-team, single-elimination tournament with a $1 million, winner-take-all prize.

Pickle Fest

Fresh pickles, live music and family fun are all part of this year’s Pickle Festival happening Saturday, July 19.

The free event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 13060 Factory Lane in Louisville. Hosted by East End Farmers Market, the outdoor festival will be held rain or shine.

In addition to pickles, the event will feature local food vendors, artisan crafts, kids activities and more.

Organizers warn potential vendors to beware of online scams. Applications and vendor fees are only accepted through the official website at www.eastendfm.com.

Louisville Street Food Festival

Fourth Street Live! in downtown Louisville will play host to two days of bold bites, craft cocktails, family fun and live entertainment this weekend for the 3rd annual Louisville Street Food Festival.

The weekend event will feature the Louisville area's best food trucks & restaurants with all food items priced at $5 or less. Guests will be allowed to sample a wide range of flavors & options from over 20+ vendors.

Expect live entertainment, axe throwing, an indoor/outdoor pavilion, mechanical bull riding, free giant chocolate fountain (VIP exclusive), crazy eating challenges, family-friendly activities, general vendor market, cooking demonstrations & more.

  • Saturday, July 19 | 2-8 p.m.

  • Sunday, July 20 | 2-8 p.m.
    • General Admission $12.99

Mag Bar Music Fest 2025

The 4th Annual Mag Bar Music Festival returns for four days of music this weekend in Old Louisville.

Organizers said this year's edition will again feature local and regional bands from multiple genres. 

The festival, which is held at Magnolia Bar on South 2nd Street, starts Thursday and runs through Sunday. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are available for purchase now. There are several options to choose from, including bundles for all four days, three days, two days or single-day tickets. Prices range from about $54 before fees for a four-day pass, to $10 for single-day Thursday and Friday passes.
