LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — It was a beautiful day Saturday for people in Louisville to try something new at the International Food Truck Festival.

Back for it’s 5th year, in collaboration with Hand in Hand Ministries, more than 20 food trucks representing 15 countries and cuisines gathered at the base of the Big Four Bridge.

Guests were also able to enjoy a DJ and a full bar of beers and cocktails.

"A lot of individuals ask what an Arrepa is or sometimes what an empanada is, so we are always happy to explain and a lot of a individuals do like to try new things, so it's exciting," said Camila Acevedo, food truck vendor.

Most of the food truck vendors are based in Kentuckiana and will be at various events throughout the summer.
