The interstate closed June 1 between Jefferson Street and Interstate 264 as part of the I-65 Central Corridor Project to replace several aging overpass bridges along the interstate.
Drivers can expect continued lane and ramp closures as work continues on overpasses and other parts of the I-65 Central Corridor Project.
