LMPD launches new investigation into an officer, use of pepper balls in 2020 protests

The new investigation comes days after LMPD finished an investigation into the same officer.

Officer Dusten Dean, who was reprimanded last week for shooting pepper balls at journalists during the 2020 riots after the Breonna Taylor raid, is under investigation again for similar actions against protesters the same night.
