LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person died after a vehicle fire that happened Friday night in Clark County.
It happened on I-265 near the State Road 62 exit in Charlestown.
Jeffersonville Police said it was a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Authorities say a vehicle was going west on I-265 from the Lewis and Clark Bridge and hit a guard rail, which caused the vehicle to rollover.
According to police, one person was inside the vehicle and that victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The westbound lanes were shut down around mile marker 8.
Jeffersonville Police, Jeffersonville Fire and Indiana State Police all responded to the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
