LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was displaced after a fire broke out at a home in east Louisville early Sunday morning.

Spokesperson Salvador Melendez said Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS responded just before 3 a.m. to a fire in the 17000 block of Seven Green Lane, near the Polo Fields Golf Club.

Firefighters arrived to find flames coming through the roof and brought the blaze under control in just under an hour.

Officials said no one was inside at the time, and the person who lived there was out of town.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
