LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Eighteen new principals have been named over the last few months in Jefferson County Public Schools. They include:

Jack F. Jacobs takes over at Bloom Elementary for Janice Bobo, who retired from JCPS. Jacobs was previously an assistant principal at Bloom.

Marcella Denise Franklin-Williams takes over at Carrithers Middle for Pat Gausepohl, who retired.

Jamie Wyman takes over at Carter Traditional Elementary for Michael Alexander, who is now an assistant director for student services in JCPS central office. Wyman was previously an assistant principal at Carter.

Tracy Barber takes over at Dunn Elementary for Patti Barron, who retired. Barber was previously the principal at Okolona Elementary School.

Faith Stroud takes over at Frost Middle. The position has been vacant for over a year. Stroud was previously the principal at Knight Middle School.

Sam Cowan takes over at Gilmore Lane for Cynthia Butterfield, who retired. Cowan was previously an assistant principal at Brandeis Elementary School.

Duan Wright takes over at Hartstern Elementary for Patsy Cox, who retired. Wright was previously an assistant principal at Hartstern.

Joseph Wood takes over at Indian Trail Elementary for Georgia Hampton, who is now an administrator in JCPS central office. Wood was previously an assistant principal at Layne Elementary.

Stephanie White takes over at King Elementary for Julia Lewis, who is retiring Dec. 1 and will be in central office until then.

Austain Allain takes over at Lowe Elementary for David Armour, who is now the principal at Kammerer Middle School. Allain was previously an assistant principal at Western Middle School.

Justin Matson takes over at Middletown Elementary for Patty Salyer, who retired. Matson was previously an assistant principal at Hawthorne Elementary School.

Karen Stearman takes over at Okolona Elementary for Barber, who moved to Dunn Elementary.

Ryan Rodosky takes over at Olmsted Academy North for Bill Perkins, who is now principal at Wilder Elementary School.

Kim Salyer takes over at Pleasure Ridge Park High for David Johnson, who retired. Salyer was previously an assistant principal at PRP.

Nicole Marshall takes over at Roosevelt Perry Elementary for Pam Howell, who is retiring.

Kevin Garner takes over at Shacklette Elementary for Candace McDaniel, who left to take a position with Oldham County Schools.

Linda Dauenhauer takes over at Tully Elementary for John Ansman, who is now an evaluation transition coordinator in JCPS central office. Dauenhauer was previously an assistant principal at Tully.

Bill Perkins takes over at Wilder Elementary for David Bodine, who retired. Perkins was previously the principal at Olmsted Academy North.

That leaves one principal vacancy at Cochrane Elementary for Susan Haynes, who is retiring.

Meanwhile, Ballard High School principal Jim Jury will continue to help out at Male because David Mike is still the principal, pending the outcome of multiple investigations. Mike has been reassigned to central office.
