LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 22-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.
Javin L. Miller was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office as the man who died in a crash near Cane Run Road and Trade Port Drive around 1:28 a.m.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said Miller was traveling southbound on Cane Run Road when for an unknown reason he left the roadway, then overcorrected, crossed into northbound lanes and hit a tree.
Ellis said a passerby stopped after the crash and stayed on scene until EMS could arrive. Miller was taken to EMS to the hospital.
Miller died at University of Louisville Hospital around an hour after the crash. He died of blunt force injuries from the crash.
Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
