LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Movie star David Spade couldn't resist stopping at a fireworks stand in Kentucky.
Spade referenced his character from the popular movie, "Joe Dirt," as he browsed the products asking questions. The star posted the mashup to social media Monday.
The actor recorded the exchange with a woman at the fireworks stand, but he didn't say where it was located in Kentucky.
"You're gonna stand there owning a fireworks stand, do a lot of people say that?" Spade said in the video. The woman in the tent recognized him, as he browsed the colorful displays remarking about the creatively named fireworks like Disco Turkey, Glittering Fountains, Pyro Fans and Peach Panthers.
The unnamed woman in the stand admitted she was a little star struck, but she did try to sell him a $900 fireworks display called "The Godfather."
Spade performed at a Lexington comedy club the night before he posted the video.
