LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The days of streaming services offering an almost endless smorgasboard of shows is coming to an end. Now you need to have multiple streamers, or you miss a lot.

A new report from CNBC said that streamers are shrinking their content libraries to cut costs, and showing more and more of the programs that they own.

Results show that Disney Plus now specializes in family content, especially Disney shows. Amazon Prime is featuring more action packed series, while Peacock focuses on crime drama.

Netflix is filled with its own top rated content, like "The Crown" and "Stranger Things."

If you're looking to save money on streaming services, you may need to choose the services that best meet your needs, and your favorite shows, so you don't waste your money.
