LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Humana's new headquarters is getting a makeover.
The company filed plans with the city to renovate the 10th-12th floors of its Waterside Building at 101 E. Main Street, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
Renovations of the 150,000-square-feet of space will include new walls, doors, modified stairs, new plumbing, mechanical and electrical improvements, expected to cost $20.1 million, according to Louisville Business First.
Last year, the insurance giant announced its plans to vacate it's iconic, 27-story headquarters building at 500 W. Main Street, consolidating employees at its Waterside Building and adjacent Clocktower Building.
In early February, WDRB reported the company plans to list the tower for sale, but that listing has not been made live.
According to Louisville Business First, Humana bought the Waterside Building in 2005 for $21.8 million.
