LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Raising Cane's opened its fifth location Wednesday morning on Shelbyville Road in Middletown.
The first 20 people in line scored free chicken for a year.
Some customers bundled up with blankets and camped out overnight just to be the the first people in line.
Louisville City FC soccer players served meals at the drive-thru and signed autographs in the afternoon. Employees also gave out more than $1,000 in prizes.
