LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Chief Meteorologist Marc Weinberg accepted a donation for his family from Genevieve and Griffin Poynter on Tuesday. Weinberg's brother and his family lost their home and belongings in the Moore, Okla., tornado on May 20.
The pair joined us during our 4 o'clock newscast to present the money to Weinberg.
They sold water and popcorn to raise the funds.
Genevieve and Griffin's goal was to raise at least $50, but they actually raised $201!
Weionberg gave the children a tour of the station and will give the money to his niece and nephew.
