LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A crash involving four vehicles Monday night sent engines all over Interstate 65 in southern Indiana.
Indiana State Police posted pictures of engines and transmissions that spilled out of a trailer and across the northbound lanes in Jackson County around 9 p.m.Ā
Police said the mess created a lengthy cleanup which saw traffic diverted at the Uniontown Exit until about 1 a.m. Tuesday.
ISP says several people were hurt, but all the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Conditions on the bridge were a factor in the crash.
Due to a crash that occurred just before 9:00 pm this evening on I-65 NB near the 46 mile marker in Jackson County, traffic is still being diverted onto US 31 at the Uniontown Exit (41 mm) while crews work to clear multiple engines that were spilled from a trailer on the roadway. pic.twitter.com/xKdunjkm8H
