LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified a man who was shot to death on Camp Street, near Shelby Park, Wednesday night.

Authorities say 24-year-old Garfield Webb Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:33 p.m. We're told the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.

Family members say Webb was a student at JCTC.

Webb's mother says he worked hard to raise money for neighborhood kids to help buy them school supplies.

She says Webb, who went by the name Auburn, would go to the area to visit friends.

She calls it a selfish act, and wants justice.

Police are still searching for the shooter.
