LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a juvenile was shot in the city's St. Denis neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 4400 block of Cane Run Road around 4:30 p.m., according to LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell. That's near Kristin Way, between Shanks Lane and Crums Lane.
Once on scene, police found a female juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg. Mitchell said she was transported to University Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but had no suspects and had made no arrests.
