LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile male was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Bulger Court, near South 11th Street, around 8:35 p.m.Ā
When police arrived on scene, they found male, whose age isn't known at this time, with a gunshot wound. Ellis said the victim was taken to the hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. Detectives are trying to determine what led up to the shooting and a possible motive.Ā
