LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested in Hardin County after police said kidnapped a juvenile at gunpoint and brought her to Elizabethtown.
According to court documents, 29-year-old Kevin Fultz was arrested by officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department just after 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said Fultz was spotted on camera driving a stolen black 2021 Ford Explorer with no license and illegally parking in a handicapped zone.
According to court documents, police stopped Fultz and searched his vehicle. Police said there were two juveniles inside who had been reported missing, as well as a stolen air conditioning unit, methamphetamine, heroin and items stolen from a wallet.
One of the juveniles allegedly told police that Fultz kidnapped her at gunpoint in Louisville and forced her to come to Elizabethtown.
Police said Fultz had a BB gun that was similar to the gun the juvenile described.
Fultz had to be wrestled to the ground by police before he was arrested, according to court documents. He's facing several charges, including kidnapping, receipt of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor and resisting arrest.
He's currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
