LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville homicide detectives are searching for suspects after a fatal shooting in southeast Louisville early Wednesday.
It happened around 1 a.m. in the 4300 block of Norbrook Drive, according to a news release from LMPD spokesperson John Bradley. That's near Buechel.
Officers from LMPD's Sixth Division responded to that location on a report of a person down and found a man with "what appeared to be" a gunshot wound, according to the release. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 33-year-old Gregory Powell Jr.
There are no suspects at this time.
