LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Homicide detectives are searching for suspects after a man was found shot to death in Louisville's Park Hill neighborhood Friday afternoon. 

It happened around 12:15 p.m., according to a news release from a Louisville Metro Police spokesperson. That's when officers from LMPD's Second Division responded to a report of a person down in the 1600 block of Dumesnil Street, which is near Dixie Highway.

Officers arrived at the scene to find a man down outside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS was called, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.

Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting, but there are no known suspects at this time.
