LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was shot and killed Sunday morning in Louisville's Phoenix Hill neighborhood.

Sgt. Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the 700 block of E. Muhammad Ali Boulevard at 10:55 a.m. on a reported shooting.

Police said a man between the ages of 30 and 40 was shot to death inside a vehicle behind the location.

This is the sixth person to be shot in Louisville in the last 15 hours. Three people were injured in a drive-by shooting Saturday night, a woman was shot in the arm early Sunday morning and a man was shot at a Louisville club shortly after that.
