LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana man faces five counts of possessing child pornography after a monthslong investigation that started in March.
James Adam Meredith, 40, was arrested Tuesday on five counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to Indiana State Police.
The agency's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Sellersburg, Indiana, started investigating in March after receiving a tip that images of child sexual abuse material were uploaded "through an electronic service provider."
Through their investigation, detectives identified a suspect living in Austin, Indiana. On Tuesday, troopers executed several search warrants at a home, leading to Meredith's arrest.
Meredith is being held at the Scott County Jail.
