LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman is dead after an early morning shooting in Louisville's Park Duvalle neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police said Second Division officers were called to an apartment across the street from Carter Traditional Elementary on Shadyside Drive about 8:45 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived, Major Russ Miller said they found the woman dead on the front porch of the apartment.
Miller said officers are talking to what he called a person of interest, so investigators believe "all parties are accounted for" in the shooting.
The Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
