LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear is recovering after getting into a car accident.
His son and current Gov. Andy Beshear said in a social media post Thursday his father got into a single-car accident Wednesday morning.
In the post, Gov. Andy Beshear said his father, who is 79 years old, will make a full recovery. Gov. Andy Beshear even joked in the post, saying his dad is already calling him to offer advice.
Gov. Andy Beshear said his family appreciates all the kind words and prayers they have received.
Yesterday morning, my father was in a single-car accident. He will make a full recovery. Our family appreciates all the kind words and prayers we’ve received. God is good, even when things are tough. Dad is going to be OK. He’s already calling me to offer even more advice! ^AB
