LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Indiana's statewide smoking ban takes effect on Sunday.

Smokers won't be able to light up in all businesses, but private clubs, bars, casinos, and retail tobacco shops are exempt.

To get ready, businesses are required to post signs that are visible at each public entrance telling visitors you can't smoke within eight feet of the door.

The State Department of Health is offering toolkits for businesses that need help adapting to the new law.
