LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky elementary teacher wowed the cooking world.
Brandi Mudd finished among the top 3 Wednesday night in the 7th season of MasterChef.Â
She may not have won, but Mudd's entree definitely won the heart of host Gordon Ramsey. But not everyone agreed with him.
"I think it's one of the best plates you've ever plated," Ramsey said in the finale. "The duck meat, let's get that right, is seasoned incredible."
"I disagree with Gordon 100 percent," another judge said. "It's by no means your most beautiful entree. To be quite honest, it's not a strong visual presentation at all."
Mudd's cooking and creativity was praised throughout this season of MasterChef. She's a teacher at Irvington Elementary School in Breckinridge County.
Before Master Chef, Mudd cooked only for friends and family.
