Adding a little spice can help perk up dinner time and your taste buds.  Kroger chef Paul Dowell joins us to kick up the heat on an easy version of "chicken diablo."

Chicken Diablo

Serves 4

2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil

1 teaspoon Fresh Chopped Garlic

1-8 oz. package Sliced Fresh Mushrooms

2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste

1-10 oz. can RoTel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies

1-8 oz. can RoTel Tomato and Green Chili Sauce

1 Whole Kroger Deli Rotisserie Chicken

2 cups Hot Cooked Rice or Pasta

Pull meat off of the Rotisserie Chicken, dice and set aside.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic and sauté until mushrooms are tender.

Add tomato paste, un-drained diced tomatoes and tomato sauce.

Cook 4 to 5 minutes.

Add diced rotisserie chicken and simmer 4 to 5 minutes more.

Serve over hot cooked rice or pasta.

If you want a little more spice, you can add a dash of cayenne pepper to taste.

This meal is sure to add some spice to your ordinary dinner routine!
