LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Craving your sweet tooth helps fund a cure for a deadly disease.
Today was the 14th annual Louisville Chocolate Fest. More than 900 people attended.
The goal was to raise more than $125,000 for the 2014 Louisville AIDS walk.Ā
The event was held at the home of Craig Scherman, who started the event.Ā
"The reason we're doing this is because not many people know that AIDS is around, and it's not going away," Sherman said.
The festival also featured live entertainment, food and beverages from some of Louisville's favorite restaurants and a silent auction.
Last year's chocolate fest raised more than $110,000.
