LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A demolition company featured on the History Channel series "Salvage Kings" is facing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit over the alleged nonpayment of a Kentucky business purchase.
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, Louisville residents Brittany Middleton and Craig Perkins sued Priestly Demolition Inc. and its owner, Ryan Priestly, in a dispute over payments tied to the purchase of their Kentucky demolition business.
The lawsuit claims the legal battle stems from the 2023 sale of GreenCity Demo LLC, a Nicholasville-based demolition company. According to the lawsuit, the business sold for more than $1.99 million under an agreement requiring payments over three years.
Middleton and Perkins say those payments never arrived. They are seeking more than $2.82 million, including the remaining purchase price, interest and attorney's fees.
The complaint also disputes a claim from the defendants' attorney that more than $1.17 million was transferred to the sellers in 2025. Middleton and Perkins allege they never received the money.
The allegations are outlined in a civil lawsuit and the court has not ruled on the claims.
