LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â John Mellencamp's sons were released from jail on Saturday morning.
Officers say 18-year-old Speck Mellencamp and 19-year-old Hud Mellencamp were released on a $500 cash bond.
The brothers are accused of punching a man and stomping on his face at a Bloomington, Indiana house back in July, causing serious injuries.
Officials say even though they were released from jail, they will each face one count of battery after a fight.
IU student Ty Smith was also charged for the crime.
