LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another Kentucky lake hit with potentially hazardous algae.
Swimmers and boaters at Nolin River Lake are being warned about possible contact with a bloom of blue-green algae.
It's capable of producing toxins that can be especially harmful to small children, animals, or people will illnesses.
The lake is still open for recreational use, but visitors are being told to be aware of the possible health risks.
The dangerous algae has also been found in Taylorsville Lake and Rough River Lake this summer.
