LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Oldham County teacher accused of having sex with a student appeared in court Monday morning.
A judge entered a not guilty plea for 35-year-old Haley Reed.
Police say she had sex with a student eight times on school property.
She was released from jail on bond earlier this month.
Reed is charged with rape, sodomy, and unlawful transaction with a minor.
Oldham County Schools released a statement on Reed's arrest last week:
"District administrators are aware of the charges against a teacher at Oldham County High School. We are cooperating with police during this investigation and the teacher will have no further contact with students for the remainder of the year.
Further questions on the investigation should be directed to the Oldham County Police Department."
