LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is accused of breaking into a home and beating the occupant with a wrench -- and it's not the only time he's been in trouble with the law.

According to an arrest report, it happened on Feb. 2 at 4:30 in the morning. Police say 22-year-old Andrew Blaine Beahl unlawfully entered a home on Blaze Way, just west of Dixie Highway and Ashby Lane.

Once inside, he allegedly attacked one of the occupants with a wrench.

Police say Beahl left before officers arrived.

The victim was taken to University Hospital with fractures to both eye sockets. That victim required reconstructive surgery.

Beahl is now in custody and has been charged with burglary.

It's not the only time he's been in trouble with the law. On March 1, police charged Beahl with theft after he allegedly tried to take a large amount of change from a vending machine at the Dogs N Suds car wash on Dixie Hwy., near Johnsontown Road.
