LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new project called ReSurfaced is turning a vacant Louisville property into a social hot spot.
This pop-up is at the site of the failed Museum Plaza on West Market Street.
The goal of the ReSurfaced project is to transform vacant lots into places with art, music, movies, and craft beer.
“The idea is that we have these vacant spaces that we aren't doing anything with, and if we can find ways to activate them now rather than waiting for developers to build all of them out, we can make the city more vibrant and friendly for pedestrians, and just a more active place,” city planner Patrick Piuma said.
ReSurfaced will be around until October 25th, Thursday -Sunday of each week.
Each Sunday, a local non-profit will be featured, with a portion of beer sales donated to the organization.
