LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There will be daily closures on River Road in downtown Louisville this week, according to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
According to a news release, engineers are scheduled to perform the routine hands-on inspection of the Interstate 64 bridge over River Road between 7th Street and 3rd Street starting Monday. Sections of River Road will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through July 21.
I-64 traffic won't be affected during the inspection. Motorists will still have access to Exit 4 to 3rd Street.
KYTC encourages drivers to use caution, seek alternate routes and plan for delays.
