Snow draws families to Cherokee Park for sledding, snowmen

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The snowy weather drew dozens of families to Louisville's parks on Saturday morning.

Cherokee Park was packed with sledders and even a snowboarder or two.

The first significant snowfall of the season meant places like Dog Hill were put to good use.

Some people tried to scrounge up enough snow to make a giant snowman.

Some of the snow mixed with mud.

So most of the sledders were hoping for a little more snow for the upcoming week.
