LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A heads up for drivers in Prospect, Kentucky. A speed limit change is coming to parts of U.S. 42.
The speed reduction will run from Del Haven Avenue east toward River Road will go from 45 mph down to 35 mph.
Crews are scheduled to update the speed limit signs Tuesday.
Starting then, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said drivers should be aware of the new signage, use caution and adhere to the newly posted speed limit signs.
KYTC also said the date and duration of the work to update the signs may be adjusted.
