Broadband plan expected to create jobs, but broadcasters concerned

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- WDRB-TV and WMYO-TV have formed a partnership with WBKI-TV.

LM Communications of Lexington recently purchased WBKI.  Now WDRB is proud to be a partner in the development of WBKI to better serve the Louisville community.

Lynn Martin, owner of LM Communications, says, "By pooling resources we feel like it gives us the ability to offer, as Bill says, better technical services, be able to have better programming on the air, being able to have it more available to us."

Bill Lamb, President and General Manager of WDRB and WMYO, explains, "For the viewer, WBKI is going to have a better signal and is going to look better over the air technically through their alliance with us."

The new partnership takes effect immediately. Viewers can expect improvements to that station over the next few weeks.
