LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman seriously injured Friday afternoon in a crash involving a semitruck and two cars on Interstate 64 West in Louisville has died.
Louisville Metro Police said officers were called to I-64 West near the 19.6-mile marker around 3:45 p.m. Friday after reports of a crash. That's near the Interstate 265 interchange.
When first responders arrived, they found a woman with "serious injuries" and she was taken to UofL Hospital.
In an update Monday afternoon, police said the woman died from her injuries Sunday in the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
