LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman died in Hardin County after she fell from a cliff.

First responders with West Hardin Fire & Rescue were called out to Sonora Hardin Springs Road in Big Clifty just before 8 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

Several callers reported a woman fell about two or three stories off the edge of a cliff and down onto some rocks. It took crews time to navigate the terrain and reach the woman.

Officials said the 26-year-old had severe injuries and died at the scene. Her name is not being released at this time.
