There are some things so obvious we know they are right or know they are wrong. Yet, for some people, up is down, wrong is right, and their values are situational.
Example: Most people understand that UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was murdered in a cold-blooded ambush. The killer needed to be caught. Thanks to outstanding police work and a brave McDonald's employee, they caught the apparent killer. For most of us, that's the story.
But what is perfectly clear to rational people seems less so to a few who, to some degree, are justifying the unprovoked murder because the victim was a health care CEO. Are you kidding me?
Elizabeth Warren said, "Violence is never the answer, but people can be pushed only so far." There is no room in that sentence for "but." Bernie Sanders said, "Murder is murder, but the outpouring of frustration we have seen ..." Stop! There is no "but" after "murder is murder."
Too many social media trolls have come out to support the killer like he's a folk hero. Who knows what goes through the minds of these broken keyboard cowboys?
If you don't like the way a business does business, fine. Do the work and change it from within. There is no justification on earth for murdering a stranger in cold blood.
You should comment on this too.
I'm Bill Lamb, and that's my Point of View.
