A nearly $130 million road construction project expected to take about three years to complete started Monday, July 7, 2025, in east Louisville. The project will widen I-264 (Watterson Expressway) between Westport Road and Interstate 71 in both directions to three lanes. The project will also add several on- and off-ramps in the area.
